Gus the bus is a Mobile preschool classroom. In 2019 Bright Beginnings retired the original 1987 Gus and purchased a “new to us” school bus. Maddox and Sons Auto Service of Evington spent many hours and days during the pandemic renovating Gus. Although we are not back to attending community events and bringing awareness to the importance of early childhood, we hope to get there soon.

Our school partnership with Campbell County Public Schools was also put on hold with hopes of resuming weekly visits to areas in the county. This was proven beneficial to families in helping to prepare children for kindergarten with activities, screenings and pre-k and kindergarten registration. Our goal is to see this program resume and expand to other counties.
